Royalty - Rich And Famous (1987)

Royalty was an R&B group from the ’80s that consisted of Kameelah, Khanjo, Kienji and Kiesah Hakeem.
"Rich And Famous" is the only studio album by the 1980s American R&B group Royalty.
It was released in 1987 under Warner Bros. Records.
The only single to chart from the album was “Wanna Make It Up To You” peaked at #92 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 3 weeks.
The other singles released from the album “Anyone in Love” and “Romeo” didn’t appear to make the charts at all.
Royalty made appearances on television shows such as “Video Soul” and the BET Network presents “Inside Studio A” where they performed three songs.
In 1989, Royalty was featured on the “Earth Girls Are Easy” movie soundtrack with the song “Baby Gonna Shake” before fading into obscurity.
Kienji Hakeem (now Kienji Harmon) was a member of Sisqo’s short-lived girl group LovHer.
These days, she hosts her own show called “The Kienji Show” on YouTube.
Kiesah wrote the song “Greatest Love of All” for singer Gladys Knight and the theme song for the UPN television series “All of Us.”
Khanjo went on to become an inspirational rapper & a bodybuilder.
These days, he is a trainer, nutritionist and contest prep coach for competitive bikini, figure and bodybuilder in the National Physique Committee.
It’s unknown what Kameelah is up to these days.
